With the development of new energy vehicles, MSD (Manual Service Disconnect) is also in wide use. The application area of MSD connectors is mainly the short circuit protection of maintenance switches and high voltage circuit systems of new energy vehicles, as well as power supply systems, PDUs, etc… Generally speaking, its function is to protect the safety of technicians repairing electric vehicles in a high-voltage environment, or responding to certain emergencies. It allows for quick separation of high voltage circuit connections in order to perform repairs and other work more safely.
The manual maintenance protection switch is a manual maintenance protection switch with high-voltage interlock function for high-voltage boxes or battery boxes of electric vehicles. It is mainly for protecting and controlling the internal main circuit of electric vehicles to prevent excessive current in case of disconnecting the main circuit current.
